Our client has an opportunity for a HR Officer to join their team to act as the first point of contact for employees for HR enquiries. You will provide a first-class service to both internal colleagues and outsourced functions and you will assist and support the HR Manager in achieving the objectives in accordance with their mission and values.
In this varied role you will support their HR function and be responsible for a number of duties including, but not limited to, recruitment and onboarding / offboarding, the oversight of outsourced functions, payroll, learning and development, monitoring and reporting, the oversight of the HR policy schedule and key administration tasks.
About you
You will have/be:
Good experience in general HR functions including payroll and recruitment
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
The ability to work within tight deadlines, organise own time effectively, prioritising and setting of realistic timescales
An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
Confident working with people at all levels of the business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong sense of accuracy and attention to detail
Patient, diplomatic and approachable
The ability to stay calm in difficult situations
