Our client, an industry-leading real estate company, is seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Officer to join their HR team initially for 6 months, with the potential longer term. This role will be integral to providing an end to end employee lifecycle support to the HR Business Partners.
The Role:
- Provide HR guidance and support to managers on the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations issues, and departures
- Assist senior HR Business Partners with complex employee relations cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, and performance management
- Own the absence management process and family-friendly policies, ensuring compliance
- Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures
- Liaise with HR Centres of Excellence for different client groups
- Maintain accurate employee records in Peoplesoft HRIS
The Profile:
- Previous generalist HR experience, ideally within a professional services environment
- Knowledge of UK employment law and best practices
- Strong client service mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to navigate ER issues with impartiality and confidentiality
- CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
