Our client is a global business with offices here in Stoke on Trent, they are seeking an individual who has some HR experience to work on a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Our client has a presence in the UK, Europe, and the USA. This standalone HR role will oversee the HR and operations functions within the business. Reporting to the CEO and working within the senior management team facilitating operations for the business.
Job Description:
- Streamlining the Onboarding and Offboarding Processes for New Starters and Leavers
- Oversight of HR systems in the US and UK, including management of Company Pension Schemes, Employee Handbooks, Benefit Schemes, Performance Review Processes, Absence Management, Maternity and Paternity Procedures, Company Bonuses, References, Salary Reviews, and Terms and Conditions Changes
- Providing comprehensive HR payroll information to the Finance Department
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all employees and management seeking HR-related advice
- Offering guidance and insights on employment law and staying abreast of legislative updates for consultation with the CEO
- Full access to outsourced HR support for comprehensive assistance
- Collaborating on GDPR adherence and liaising with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to address any queries
- Supervision of an Administrator and their workload
- Managing the compliance and onboarding process for contractors
- Performing Health & safety duties such as risk assessments, updating of H& handbook, and general admin
- Basic knowledge of internal CRM and recruitment systems
- HR experience

Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP34,000 (There is also a quarterly bonus)
