Working for a leading public sector organisation in Sheffield you will be joining a busy HR department and will report to the HR Business Partner for Organisational Development.

Your new role
This will be a busy role support a project within the organisation. The role will report to the HRBP for Organisational Development and the main purpose of the role will be to contribute to the delivery of the services for the organisation\'s People Strategy. Support will be provided management team to design, delivery and promote ED& focused strategy. The successful applicant will have held a similar role previously and be able to demonstrate this upon application
Duties of the post will include;
-To design and deliver Positive Action initiatives in line with the ED&I strategy of the department - including programs, events to be included in the recruitment and retention of staff
-To research and deliver Positive Action strategy and assist with the preparation of annual reports relating to workforce profile and equality reports
-To identify trends, analysis of present ED&I data for reporting purposes
-Design and deliver on a community/ organisation engagement tool working with internal staff and relevant stakeholders
-Work with the wider business/ organisation to develop a strategy relating to community engagement
-Work with marketing/ communications team on relevant materials promoting EDI
-Take responsibility for the accurate and secure processing of data around the project, in line with compliance and data protection procedure
What you\'ll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have experience of the following areas;
- Experience of developing and delivering on ED&I engagement including report and training
- An excellent knowledge of under-represented groups and the challenges of recruitment, progression and retention
- A driving licence would be advantageous should you be required to visit other office locations
- A good working knowledge of the recruitment and retention process
- CIPD Qualified
- A good working knowledge of MS Office and PowerPoint and Excel for reporting purposes
- A good understanding of data protection legislation and security
- People management project experience
- The ability to analyse and interpret large data sets
