The Lost Estate is seeking an experienced HR & Recruitment Manager to join our growing team. This is a hugely varied and exciting role where you will be recruiting across multiple departments in a high-growth start-up, implementing a new HR & Recruitment Strategy and digital HR system, introducing new HR procedures and policies and developing TLE’s people and company culture strategy.
Job Title: HR & Recruitment Manager
Department: Head Office
Reports To: Managing Director
Rate of Pay: £38k-45k depending on experience
Dates of Work: Full time commencing ASAP
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle all end-to-end company recruitment, from sourcing, interviewing, contracting, ‘Right to Work’ checks to onboarding.
- Management of the TLE’s HR function.
- Implement a digital HR system and maintain all HR records, ensuring compliance (including GDPR) where necessary.
- Review, update and continually develop all company employment contracts and procedures.
- Help design and introduce a new staff benefits package, including a company bonus scheme.
- Handle all employee relations, such as payroll questions, disciplinary and grievance proceedings, upholding compliance with HR policies and procedures throughout the organisation.
- Prioritise excellent organisational health by developing TLE’s company culture, making this a place where great people can do great work.
- Provide information to the senior management team to support decision-making, such as headcount forecasting, remuneration and staff training and development plans.
Role Requirements:
Essential
- At least 5 years experience within a similar role in the hospitality or similar sector
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or similar) and/or a UK degree in HR
- Experience implementing digital HR information systems
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations procedures
- In depth knowledge of organisation health strategies and experience developing an industry-leading company culture
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- GDPR trained
- Experience of managing across multiple sites
- Experience with Fourth, of other similar HR systems
- Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resource networks and organisations
