HR Specialist (6 month Fixed Term)
Location : Waterlooville
Salary : £30,000 - £33,000
Hours : Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, hours can be flexible - 40 hours per week.
My client, a specialist Healthcare Provider, is looking for an experienced HR Specialist in Waterlooville. This is a great opportunity for a HR Specialist to take the lead on developing and implementing an internal HR system.
Main duties of the HR Specialist:
- Acting as HR Lead for in-progress HRIS system implementation, including continued testing and configuration, security administration, report writing, system optimisation post go-live, and coordination and management of cross-functional dependencies between HR, Benefits, IT, and Payroll.
- Leading the continuous evaluation and evolution of HR Systems
- Managing and scaling a team of HRIS members to help define and drive the overall HRIS roadmap.
- Coordinating with Information Technology and the user community to identify areas of improvement, recommend changes, and implement functional solutions for existing systems.
- Mentoring and coaching the HR team to develop expertise and drive process and configuration excellence.
- Actively identifying and resolving issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience and other HRIS Integrations.
- Developing, documenting, and maintaining all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.
- Maintaining and administering ad hoc report writing tools for end users; training and assisting users of those ad hoc report writing tools.
- Communicating with HR teams, to ensure understanding of processes.
Requirements for the HR Specialist are:
- Work experience as an HRIS Specialist or similar role
- Hands-on experience with databases and HR software
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
