HR Manager
Greenwich, SE London 55,000 per annum + bonus
We are partnered with one of Europe's largest telecommunications companies, who are the global leaders in the design, manufacture and installation of subsea network communications. With over 160 years in the industry, this international telecom giant continues to drive the innovation of integrated communication solutions worldwide.
A large proportion of our workforce is based out of our UK Hub on the Greenwich Peninsula, and we are now seeking an accomplished HR professional to join our growing Human Resources Team.
Role Summary
As HRM, your primary accountability will be to oversee ER for the Greenwich Hub, offering operational support, advice and guidance to employees and managers across multiple business functions on a wide range of employee related matters.
Working with cross-functional partners and external occupational health services; the HR Manager will support both employees and line managers on all aspects of the employment relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop close working relationships, building trust and credibility, through the delivery of expert HR advise
- Assist and develop managers by guiding them through HR processes, including recruitment, absence management, negotiations, grievances, case management and supporting challenging discussions.
- Manage the employee life cycle, end-to-end, across all HR processes
- Advise, influence and challenge managers to ensure the best possible outcome in all employee matters
- Provide coaching and mentoring to line managers, help them to improve management capability and enable them to self-serve
- Stay on top of developments in employment legislation and human resources, sharing knowledge to ensure continuous improvement
- Work with the wider HR community on HR initiatives: training and development, policy review/redesign, onboarding and wellbeing programmes.
Person Specification
- CIPD Level 7
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Management or similar
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex Employee Relations cases, including absence management (including long-term sickness), grievances, disciplinary hearings and appeals.
- Previous experience working with external Occupation Health partners, beneficial.
- Background working in a large organisation, international organisation, beneficial.

- Full-Time, 5 Days per Week - 37.5 Hours.
- Hybrid Working Available - 3 Days in office per week.
