Ford & Stanley Group, The Rail Recruitment Specialists are working with a market leader in rail vehicle maintenance and overhaul, on their search for a HSE Advisor.

Requirement for an ambitious individual wishing to grow your career within H&S. Our client is undergoing a significant period of growth, driven by company strategy, capitalising on market conditions. As part of this, they wish to drive safety improvements throughout the business.
This has created an ambitious Health and Safety Advisor, ready to 

• Develop and grow your career alongside the company.
• Be mentored by the Head of HSE.
• Be provided with education support/study support for future H&S qualifications.
• Be given the backing of a company COO who has a HSE background.
• Put your stamp on their journey of transforming and modernising current HSE practices.
• Make significant changes to safety behaviors across the site.

Location: Milton Keynes

Essential criteria: 

• Previous experience in engineering/rail/safety
• History of working as a Health and Safety Advisor - qualifications such as NEBOSH Certificate or IOSH would be beneficial.
• Emotionally intelligent with good communication skills – able to build relationships with people on the ‘shop floor’.
