Working for a world leader within the aircraft manufacturing industry the HSE Compliance Manager will implement, manage and maintain the Health, Safety and Environmental management systems to ensure standardisation and provide resources for certification and regulatory approvals. The ideal candidate will have previous compliance or HSE experience and will be looking to progress. Standards include ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and the implementation of Safety Management System in EASA Part 145, CAA Part 145, and Part 21.

Duties:
- Act as the focal resource for certification and regulatory body approval, auditing and inspections
- Report to the Group Compliance Manager on the performance of the management system
- Identify and communicate compliance requirements
- Provide assurance of functional audit compliance to business management system processes
- Generate business management system reports by function
- Identify corrective actions and manage these generating management system audits and findings
- Document, issue and maintain management systems and processes to ensure continuous
- Perform risk assessment activities
- Establish and maintain a departmental structure that can support compliance activities
- Ensure that effective processes are used for managing employee performance, attendance, timekeeping and employee relations and that they align with the HR Teams expectations
- Provided relevant information on the organisation's performance and future plans, principally through formal briefing processes and reviews
Qualifications & Experience:
- GCSE grade C or above in Math and English is required
- An Apprenticeship, Compliance or HSE based qualification is preferable along with management systems qualifications
- Experience gained within the Aerospace industry is preferred.
- Must have some experience of working with compliance and the ability to work to tight deadlines within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Must have a full, clean UK driving licence
