HSEQ Manager
Cala Consulting are recruiting for a HSEQ Manager for a successful, well-established organisation.

As a HSEQ Manager, you will be responsible for continuous development and maintenance of all Health and Safety practices and activities, ensuring the safety of employees, contractors and visitors. Working collaboratively across the business with all managers and people to provide in-depth technical and legislative knowledge to deliver Health and Safety excellence. Responsibilities:
- Working with a highly work alongside the Senior Management Team to manage and maintain a safety first, quality always culture across our business.
- Manage all aspects of HSEQ to maintain all current certification up to date, including ISO accreditations and keeping other licenses up to date.
- Investigate & report accidents and to aid all departmental managers to document, implement and enforce safe systems of work.
- Support all managers & directors on matters of Health, Safety and Environmental
- Support Project Managers and Site Managers with all relevant Health & Safety documentation including RAMS, Site reports etc.
- Management of internal and external monitoring of environmental hazards such as noise, odour, and dust.
- Assess and maintain training requirements and design and deliver internal task specific training.
- Continuous review, development, and implementation of quality Safety inductions at the various operations.
- Maintain and develop HSEQ policies.
- Ensure H&S equipment e.g., PPE is provided and used.
- Ensure safe working practices are implemented and adhered to
- Ensure adequate information, instruction and training is relayed to all employees
- Oversee non-conformances and track corrective actions
- Conduct risk, COSHH, DSEAR assessments.
- Ensure LOLER inspections are carried out as required at all facilities.
- Ensure that fire prevention/ emergency systems are tested at suitable intervals by component third parties.
- Monitor site & production documentation/reports.
- Enforcement and review of Health & Safety policies.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a HSEQ Manager or 5 years as HSE Advisor/Officer within a similar related environment.
- Experience in H&S, Quality & Environmental Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)
- NEBOSH or Level 6 Diploma or Certification
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Full Driving Licence and access to own transport.
- Regular travel to client sites
