We are looking to recruit a friendly and confident individual to provide HR administrative and operational support. This is a brand new role within Grace’s Bakery to support the Human Resources Manager.

You will interact with staff across the company who work different shift patterns, therefore a willingness to be flexible with your schedule is very important. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise a diverse workload, multi-task and solve problems. You should be personable and helpful, friendly yet professional, with a proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to demonstrate initiative. You will need to be fluent in Microsoft packages and Outlook, ideally familar in HR administration and operational processes and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Approximately 24 hours a week, any day Monday to Friday between the office hours of 9am to 6pm. Actual working hours and days are dependent on the needs of the business. Based in Ryde High Street. 

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the planning and authorisation of holidays across the business.
  • Assist in the monitoring of attendance records.
  • Assist in Absence Management meetings and record keeping.
  • Assist in formal and informal meetings.
  • Assist in monitoring training records and arranging training.
  • Scheduling meetings on behalf of the Human Resources manager.
  • Scribing and writing up meeting records.

Skills Required:

  • Due to the nature of this role, professionalism and confidentiality is of the upmost importance.
  • Must have a high standard of written and verbal communication.
  • Must have previous experience in admin roles.
  • Previous experience within human resource roles is desirable. 
  • Must be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of meeting schedules.
