Currently supporting a leading public sector organisation appoint a strategic HR BP. As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with the overall objectives of the institution. This position requires a seasoned HR professional with a deep understanding of the housing sector (building property services), strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. The HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to the Partnering Executive Director contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that support the institution's mission and values.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Partnering Executive Director to understand their strategic objectives and provide HR guidance and support.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives tailored to the unique needs of the housing sector.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in higher education HR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a higher education setting.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
