We are currently partnering with one of our longstanding clients within the utilities industry who are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their HR team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic Business Partner with executive directors and senior leaders to shape and execute business strategy and drive the people agenda in accordance with the HR plan. They will operate as a trusted Business Partner and advisor with the credibility to influence thinking, challenge, shape and identify opportunities to add greater value.
Salary for this role is between GBP60,000 - GBP65,000 (potentially upwards of this DOE) in addition to a car allowance and a company performance bonus. Hybrid working is also offered with 3 days in the office or at a site, and 2 days working from home per week.
The HR Business Partner will be expected to travel to sites across the North West to meet with stakeholders, conduct meetings and be a visible member of the HR team. The sites include, but are not limited to; Manchester, Warrington, Blackburn, Stockport and Preston. Your base will be the Salford office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders at all levels, partnering with them to develop and influence the strategic people plan
- Identify opportunities to lead and deliver on transformation and change initiatives
- Create business improvements plans and cost efficiencies
- Lead the development of a 'high performance culture' across the business
- Provide coaching to leaders at all levels, enabling them to support their teams and bring about a culture of high performance
- Influence and challenge directors and leaders to shape and bring to life the culture of inclusion, supporting the overall D&I strategy
- Maximise succession planning and building recruitment retention strategies to minimise risk
- Provide strategic input within the business to identify opportunities to design, drive and deliver changes
- Analyse and report on monthly HRMI
- Partner with the Head of Talent and Head of Reward to support the delivery of business and people agendas
- Be a mentor to the HR Advisory Team, providing expert advice and support on complex ER matters
- Be the true HR lead on HR projects
Requirements:
- CIPD Level 7
- Experience of leading large/complex transformation and change
- Proven influencing and coaching skills
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience of partnering with those at Exec Director level
- HR project management experience
- Excellent HR and employment law knowledge
- Experience of being a true HR Business Partner who has extensive experience of people planning in accordance with business plans
- Commercially astute
