Location: Sheffield, Uxbridge or Manchester
2 days a week in Office.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR consultant to join our Human Resources team. The HR Consultant role is pivotal to facilitating and driving change by helping the organisation achieve its goals. Working closely with the HR Business Partner to act as the key interface within the business, the HR Consultant is integral in providing advice and guidance to the Management team and supporting with the execution of value added initiatives and activity aligned to business objectives and strategy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-Partner with management population, business leaders and the HR Business Partners to deliver HR solutions
- Build effective relationships at all levels
- Determine challenges that managers face and assist in implementing people plans aligned with business and HR strategy
- Support execution against EMEA HR strategy and manage HR projects
- Provide local support on employee relations and manage local ER processes in accordance with local legislation
- Promote best practice across the business
- Case management of long term sickness issues and proactive absence management
- Support recruitment and selection process and involvement in interview process
- Facilitation and delivery of new hire induction
- Use HR Analytics to identify areas for improvement and develop change interventions
- Support talent acquisition team for workforce planning
- Provide support and segment overview to facilitate talent management, succession planning and leadership development
- Act as a coach and provide development support to the HR Project Co-ordinator and/or HR Co-ordinator
- Stay up to date with current and new/proposed employment legislation and recommend changes as needed.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Previous relevant HR experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Graduate or educated to a minimum of A Level (or local country equivalent) and possess a suitable business-related qualification
- Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of Employee Relations, Reward, Resourcing and Development, up to date with best practice and benchmarking in these areas
- Professional HR Qualification (e.g. CIPD level 3 and above or equivalent) is desirable
- HR system knowledge – ideally SuccessFactors/SAP experience. Familiar with HR data Analytics.
- A proactive self-starter with a proven record of delivering results which add value.
- Applies conflict management resolutions. Demonstrates experience in effectively resolving difficult situations with the most appropriate solutions.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Able to use judgement, discretion, and tact in dealing with confidential information.
- High level of written and spoken English.
