Applications are invited for a Human Resources Information System Analyst to join the HR team at the Glasgow School of Art. The role is full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term for 12 months.

The HR team has an important role to play in delivering a People Strategy that enables the success of the GSA strategic ambitions. Recognising the importance of the GSA people to our collective success, the HR Team will work in partnership to enable the GSA workforce to have the skills, engagement, diversity, inclusivity and agility to deliver across the Strategic Plan, setting out clear actions and timelines for delivery of the HR workplan.

This is a really exciting, transformative time for the GSA and is a fantastic opportunity for HR professionals to join our team, contributing their insights and expertise to the development and delivery of people solutions that can continue to drive change across the GSA.

Working closely with a wide range of colleagues across the GSA, the HR Team have an opportunity to positively impact on employee experience and so also ultimately impact on the student experience. We are building an HR team that is person centred, invested in continuous improvement and delivers innovative HR solutions. We are looking for individuals who can listen, engage and build excellent relationships and credibility with colleagues.

The Role

The HRIS Analyst will contribute to the successful delivery of the HR function by being responsible for managing and maintaining the HR Information Systems.
You will be a pivotal member of our HR Team, working closely with the wider HR team to ensure that all HR processes are streamlined and the HR systems enable the delivery of an efficient HR function.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for ensuring we have an authoritative source of data. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, relationship builder and be an experienced HRIS Analyst with experience of working with and maintaining iTrent and/or other HR Information Systems with demonstratable data analysis and problem-solving experience. Experience of writing standard operating procedures and delivering multiple priorities in a constrained timeline is required and you will have the ability to apply knowledge and expertise in implementing new HR modules or functions.
