You will lead the dedicated People Hub of 3 focusing on delivering a best-in-class customer experience, providing an effective and efficient end-to-end employee lifecycle service with a drive to achieve continual improvement. This is a diverse role, operationally orientated and fast paced with the need for accuracy and in-depth understanding of policies and processes.
Human Resources Services Manager duties:
- Managing and developing a team of 3 People Coordinators
- Continually drive process improvements, identify issues and solutions, and work with teams across the business o drive better performance
- Ensure that all processes, procedures and activities are documented and updated, with particular emphasis on onboarding, leavers, changes and non-employee workers
- Support your own customer group, including HR for HR where advisory level support is required
- Be (or become) the subject matter expert in all issues relating to visas and immigration including acting as a point of escalation, maintaining compliance with legislation and ensuring processes/policy is updated accordingly
- Work closely with managers to support performance improvement plans and employee development, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Lead on initiatives to enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and retention
- Proven HR Experience, ideally within academia, research institutes or healthcare environments
- Experience of using Workday
- Knowledge of employment law
