The days and hours are to be agreed and can be split over 3/4/5 days - this role is fully onsite in Bideford.

Purpose: As the HR Specialist, your main tasks include:
- HR Employee Relations: You'll provide advice and coaching related to employee matters like investigations, discipline, grievances, and performance management.
- Payroll Processing: Handling payroll tasks.
- Time and Attendance: Managing systems and generating necessary reports.
- Talent Acquisition: Working with the HR team to ensure proper processes for hiring and onboarding.
- Apprentice Scheme Administration: Responsible for apprentice recruitment, onboarding, salary adjustments, and progress reviews.
- Project Work: Taking on allocated projects.
- Performance Management: Assisting in this area.
- Confidentiality and Compliance: Ensuring both.
- Inclusivity and Diversity: Being an ambassador for these values in the workplace.
Requirements:
- HR Experience: You should have worked in HR as a Generalist, Advisor, or Officer.
- Payroll Knowledge: Previous experience with payroll.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Education: At least GCSE or equivalent.
- CIPD Membership: Desirable, along with continuous professional development.
