Trading Manager (eCommerce)
Birmingham – 2 days office/3 days home
£45,000 - £55,000 (doe) + benefits
Pitch is delighted to be supporting a global Pureplay eCommerce business based in the West Midlands. This is a brand-new role into a growing team and will be a key asset to the business.
The Trading Manager will have responsibility for owning the trading plan, working closely with the wider digital and merchandising teams to ensure that sales targets are delivered. You will be responsible for delivering the commercial plan through the execution of the onsite strategy and delivering an exceptional customer experience at all stages of the customer journey.
You must be highly commercial, enjoy looking at data and understanding what the data is telling you, in order to take action and work with the wider team to get the results you need.
Here’s an over-view of the experience you’ll need:
- Previous experience within an eCommerce trading role.
- Have knowledge of B2C and B2B trading (B2C is key).
- Strong CX knowledge to understand how customers shop.
- Understand how digital marketing activity feeds into eCommerce delivery.
- Strong communicator and able to liaise across the team to get sales delivered.
- Strong data management and analytics experience, with knowledge of PowerBi and Google Analytics/GA4.
- Previous team management experience and a strong leader is an absolute must.
- Experience from either Pureplay eCommerce or a multi-channel retail business.
