We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the Transactional Banking Compliance team in the role of Senior Manager - Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) and Global Payment Solutions (GPS).
As a Senior Compliance Manager for GTRF and GPS, you’ll be an integral part of a wider Compliance team who are responsible for providing compliance guidance and advice to colleagues within Commercial Banking on Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance matters. The role requires someone with an understanding of the business products, key risks associated to the products and the UK regulatory environment.
In this role, you will:
• Act as the GTRF lead within the Transactional Banking Compliance team and also support specific parts of the GPS business.
• Perform a key role in assessing the Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance risks arising from activities conducted by GTRF and GPS.
• Provide timely and constructive advice and challenge to 1LOD stakeholders on Compliance risks.
• Attend and prepare for relevant governance committees in GTRF such as meetings and the Reputational Risk Customer Selection Committee, Risk Review Committee and Product Risk Control Committee.
• Review Product governance papers and attend Product Governance forums.
• Provide Compliance oversight and challenge of GTRF’s Risk and Control Assessments under the bank’s Risk Management Framework.
• Oversee key areas of regulation impacting GTRF and GPS which could include but not be limited to; the UK Money Laundering Regulations (MLRs), Payment Transparency Requirements, Payment Service Regulations, the FCA Handbook, Fraud and Sanctions.
