Job Role: HV Electrical Technician

Salary: 45k to 55k (Dependant on Experience)

Location: Livingston (Field Based)

Are you an experienced HV Electrical Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career? We are recruiting on behalf of a leader in high voltage (HV) electrical services, be a part of a dedicated team providing critical maintenance and project support in the HV sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Emergency Call Outs: Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring quick and effective resolution to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• HV Switchgear and Transformer Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HV switchgear and transformers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• HV Switchgear Protection Injection Testing: Conduct protection injection testing on HV switchgear to verify the correct operation and integrity of protection systems.
• HV Project Works: Participate in various HV project works, including installations, upgrades, and expansions, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in HV electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of HV switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.
• Ability to perform HV protection injection testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in emergency situations.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in HV electrical engineering.
