Job Overview:

As a key contributor, you'll be an integral part of our mission to manage and deliver cutting-edge construction projects that enhance healthcare infrastructure.

As a P3O Project Manager (HVAC), you will:

• Precision in Practice: Operate within a Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management (P3M) office, unleashing your skills with PRINCE2 project methodology.
• Autonomous Brilliance: Assume autonomous professional responsibility, overseeing the overall management of diverse capital construction schemes. From small works at £10k to projects up to £1m, be the driving force from feasibility through procurement to completion.
• Strategic Collaboration: Assist the Head of Projects in shaping the overall Estates Project Works programme. Monitors spend and procurement, ensuring compliance with RBFT and department governance across multiple projects.
• Innovative Implementation: Participate in the implementation of department procedures and systems, contributing to P3O and Brand Manual development.
• Safety Leadership: Take the reins in managing and monitoring CDM2015 and other aspects of project Health and Safety, prioritizing a secure working environment.
• Performance Pioneer: Provide key performance indicators, showcasing the outstanding performance of the Trust's Estates and Facilities capital programme against national and local standards.
• Resource Mastery: Efficiently manage external resources on behalf of the capital technical team, delivering professional, customer-focused, and cost-effective services.
• Continuous Brilliance: Ensure the development, maintenance, and dissemination of the highest professional standards in construction practice. Actively participate in internal and external CPD training, with support for industry-specific higher/further education and associated professional development provided by RBFT.
• Flexibility Extraordinaire: Demonstrate flexibility by assisting/covering other Project Managers when directed by the Head of Projects.
• Design Dynamo: Showcase your design prowess by generating specifications, schedules, and drawings adhering to industry legislation, good practice (HTM / HTG / HBN), and design-to-tender principles for lower-value projects.

Person Specification:

• Qualified to HNC/HND level in a relevant Building Construction qualification or equivalent, or possession of equivalent experience in an Estates Management environment.
• Project Management experience of delivering Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Works Projects.
• PRINCE2 accreditation.
• Specialism in P3O with appropriate knowledge.
• Excellent people skills and the drive to ensure that Trust Values are always followed.
