We are looking for hygiene cleaners on a full time, permanent basis based in Medway.

Shift

Monday - Friday

6am-4pm

Job Purpose

To support with day to day hygiene services by partaking in weekly, monthly and quarterly deep clean tasks and help to maintain staff facilities on site i.e. canteen, lockers, toilets etc.)

Responsibilities

• To assist with the delivery of the programmed machinery deep clean shutdowns.
• To follow all hygiene, food safety, quality, H&S procedures, and the company terms & conditions.
• To identify difficulties as and when they arise and communicate these to the Hygiene Team Leader.
• Manual handling of goods up to 25 kg.
• Cleaning and tidying of the external areas of the factory and office buildings.
• Handle chemicals as per COSHH training and regulations.
• Undertake all aspects of hygiene within non-operational areas, this includes toilets, canteen, warehouse, yard.
• Timely and accurate completion of related documents and records.
• Operation of cleaning equipment during deep cleaning tasks and wash down of machines during scheduled shut down periods.
• Comply with existing Cleaning Instruction Cards and SOP’s.

Skills/Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Ability to deal with pest control.
• Ability to work in hot environment, confined space, on height.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
