Job Summary
Alecto Recruitment are currently representing a well-established and reputable water treatment/building services specialist based in Kent, who are now looking to appoint a Water Hygiene Technician on a permanent basis.
As Water Hygiene Technician, you will cover the London and surrounding areas including Surrey, Hertfordshire, Essex and Kent, carrying out Water Hygiene monitoring and remedial tasks in line with Acop L8 guidance.
Duties will include:
- Temperature monitoring and microbiological water analysis sampling
- Water hygiene skills, including TMV servicing and fail-safe testing, tank inspections, outlet flushing, cleaning and descaling shower heads, and cleaning and descaling the calorifier.
- Cleaning & disinfection of pipework systems, cold water storage tanks and cooling towers
- Closed system water analysis sampling and water treatment
