Overview:
ICA Technicians in the water sector ensure the smooth operation of water treatment and distribution systems. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation, control systems, and automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instrumentation and Control Systems:
- Install and maintain sensors, transmitters, and PLCs.
- Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance.
- Automation System Operation:
- Monitor and optimize processes using SCADA systems.
- Implement automation strategies for efficiency.
- Calibration and Testing:
- Calibrate instruments regularly.
- Perform functional testing of control systems.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
- Identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with teams for complex problem-solving.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Proven ICA maintenance experience in water or wastewater.
Skills:
