An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join a successful ICT department. The department is looking to recruit an ICT Helpdesk and AV Technician to work as part of the Foundation Services ICT department providing support for all ICT and AV activities across the school campus.
The successful candidate will act as a first line trouble-shooter providing effective and timely solutions across all infrastructure, ICT Systems/Hardware and AV. They will work as part of a team to provide first line technical support for over 3,000 users from across the school. Experience in PC Hardware, Microsoft Servers, applications and services including Active Directory, and Windows, are essential for this role.
Key areas of responsibility for this role will include supporting assemblies, lectures and other events (including for PSHEE, Open Morning, Open Evening, and other marketing events) by undertaking responsibility for all AV setups (including projection, video recording and/or sound when required).
The successful candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative, plan, organise and determine priorities to meet tight deadlines, have excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail and have a willingness to work flexibly within a team to collaborate towards common objectives. A good standard of education and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an ICT or AV Technician is essential. Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable.
