RamsaySterile Services Hub North West
We are now inviting applications forthe post of Hub Engineer. This is a full-time position and is basedat Ramsay Sterile Services North West inPreston.

TheRole:

TheSterile Services/Decontamination Engineerwill be responsible for the provision of Engineering Maintenanceand breakdown support to the decontamination hub. Providingcompetent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support &assistance. Offering support and advice to Technicians andEngineering Assistants in carrying out their day to dayresponsibilities. Ensuring that all work orders are reviewed withinMMS and allocated with appropriate resource for each task withintheir area of responsibility.


What you’ll bring withyou:

  • City& Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent preferably inMechanical or ElectricalEngineering

  • Experiencein managing and co-ordinating Contractors and ServiceEngineers

  • Understandingof Quality Management, customer satisfaction and the continuousimprovementprocess.

  • Comprehensiveunderstanding of Health and Safety guidelines and applicablelaw

  • Excellentwritten/verbal communication and interpersonalskills

  • Strongorganisation and time management skills, particularly in anenvironment with multiple and sometimes conflictingpriorities.

  • Soundfault findingtechniques
