Ict Officer

The ICT Officer will assist the ICT Manager to support the ICT needs of the research, education and outreach and corporate functions of the organisation. A wide range of computer systems are used for numerical analysis, theoretical modelling, data reduction and creating multi-media content for the public, including software development, data visualisation and analysis, as well as administrative tasks, web services, backup and an extensive data archive..

Degree in ICT/Computer Science & 1 yrs relevant experience in an ICT support environment in the last 5 years.HND/HNC in ICT/Computer Science & 2 yrs relevant experience in an ICT support environment in the last 5 years OR3 years recent experience.

Experience of maintaining WordPress sites and applications.Experience of supporting UNIX-type and Windows based physical and virtual client/server solutions.

Experience in managing RedHat or similar Linux OS for bespoke applications.Ability to design, build and support SharePoint pages for internal users.

Knowledge of POE and Wireless LAN infrastructure.Experience of Kramer Control System and management of Kramer Console.
