Your new school
Hays are offering a long-term ICT teacher role at a large secondary school in RCT with a mixed intake of 11-18-year-olds. Due to a vacancy in the ICT department, the school are looking to hire a long-term ICT teacher to start ASAP. The leadership team have a strong vision which is communicated well throughout the school to support the pupils.
Your new role
You will work as a part of large and successful department and will be responsible for teaching a timetable of ICT classes on a full-time basis for KS3-5. You will have full teaching responsibilities including lesson planning, assessing work, and marking. This role is to start as soon as possible.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher and you will have previous experience of within a secondary school or college or have completed a PGCE in ICT or Computer Science. You will have a passion for learning and have a strong track record of helping pupils to achieve results. You will also possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills. You share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check or be willing to get one.
