Ict Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking to appoint an ICT teacher up to full-time (Maternity Cover) commencing 21 August 2024. Application Pack is also available on the School website www.rbai.org.uk

Responsibilities:

·member of a departmental team working under the guidance and direction of the Head of Department;

·Class teaching, following planned schemes of work and assessment, to which you may be asked to contribute;

·assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils according to the school’s and departmental assessment policy;

·attend Parents’ Consultations Evenings for those classes which you teach;

·contribute to the continued development of ICT and Digital Technology to enhance the quality of teaching and learning throughout the School;

·Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the Digital Technology department and to the School.

Essential Criteria

1.Qualified teacher status as recognised by DENI and registered with GTCNI

2.An Honours degree in which ICT/Digital Technology and/or Computing is the main component 2.2 or above

3.Experience of teaching GCSE Digital Technology specification at Key Stage 4

4.Experience of delivering modules of work for both Programming and HTML, in the last 2-4 years
