Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a permanent teacher of Mathematics commencing in August 2024. The successful applicant must be prepared to work in a team and demonstrate an enthusiasm and commitment for the subject.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are subject to the general duties and responsibilities contained in the National Statement of Employment.

Essential Criteria

Qualified teacher status as recognised by DENI and be registered with GTC (NI) by time of

1. appointment.
2. An Honours degree in Mathematics 2.2 or alternative maths based degree such as Engineering or equivalent B Ed.

Desirable Criteria

1.Experience of teaching GCSE Further Mathematics in recent years.

2.Proven record of contribution to extra-curricular activities, which can include mathematics enrichment.

3.Experience of teaching Mathematics up to and including A2 level.
