Wolverley CE Secondary School is an extremely successful and growing school on the outskirts of Kidderminster. The school is seeking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic, trustworthy, and organised individual to join our skilled ICT team and support the infrastructure at Wolverley and the management of other local school sites. A role with the ICT team is an extremely rewarding and challenging job that offers individuals the chance to enhance their skills and offers potential for further career development for the right candidate. The role is ideal for a hard-working individual who is looking for a secure role, with the associated benefits of working for a local authority. The successful candidate will work as part of the support staff team in this oversubscribed 11-18 dynamic and successful school. The post will support with the maintenance and management of ICT related functions of the school under the leadership of the Network Manager and Business Director. This appointment will be critical in assisting with the school’s ICT functions to deliver an excellent network of hardware and software that improves school effectiveness.
The role is ideal for those new to the profession, having recently completed an apprenticeship or other relevant ICT qualification. This role will be a key first step for those professionals wanting to develop a successful career in ICT and have aspirations in the field of ICT management.
Excellent communication skills are also necessary to relate well with pupils, staff and other adults.
