Form of work Our client is seeking an enthusiastic person with experience in imports/exports to join their expanding company in the logistics sector. The ideal candidate will have a pro-active, can do attitude and the ability to work in a high-pressure, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
• Air/Sea/Road freight booking (experience in all not essential)
• Processing relevant import/export documentation including AWBs, B/Ls & CMRs.
• Submitting Import & Export Customs entries using CDS.
• Building effective relationships with supply chain stakeholders, including: shippers, importers, agents and clients.
• Monitoring and updating shipment progress, ensuring clients are kept up to date at all times.
• Providing quotations and invoicing clients.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a start to finish role
• Customs entry experience
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
• Computer literate - high level on Microsoft Word/Excel.
