IN-HOUSE SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL

We are delighted to be instructed by this multi-billion pound global business to recruit an experienced Commercial lawyer into its highly regarded legal team.

This internationally-recognised business supports an extensive customer base from the healthcare, automotive, life sciences,  consumer, retail, and technology sectors.

The Role
Joining the legal team as Senior Legal Counsel for the UK and Ireland, you will be part of a specialist legal function which also forms part of a wider global team.

You will enjoy a multi-faceted role which will involve you considering and advising on a range of commercial contracts, public sector, outsourcing and logistics issues. You will be working with UK-based and international colleagues.

A typical day may involve liaising with stakeholders across the business to collaborate on transactions, drafting a variety of contracts and documents, participating in commercial and strategic discussions, and providing updates and internal training to the wider business.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an English qualified solicitor with sufficient experience (around 6 PQE and above) to advise on a range of commercial contracts. This experience may be from private practice, in-house, or a mix of the two.

Experience of logistics contracts would be helpful but is not an essential requirement of the role.

What’s On Offer
In addition to a competitive base salary, there is also a generous car allowance and benefits package on offer.

The successful candidate will need to be based within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes but will be able to work remotely on a very regular basis. There will be pre-arranged travel to other sites around the country one day per month and on an occasional basis at other times.
