Role: Inclusion Analyst

Salary: Competitive

End date: August 2025

For: Placement year undergraduates or graduating 2024 and working towards a master's degree in 2025.

Are you seeking a role that embraces diversity and inclusion and allows you to contribute to fostering an inclusive workforce?

This industrial placement will give you the opportunity to develop your skills, broaden your network and gain valuable experiences within the Global Diversity & Inclusion team and the wider Human Resources function. You will support the Global D&I team on a wide range of initiatives across many different diversity strands.

The Inclusion Analyst placement is a paid 11-month fixed contract open to placement year undergraduates or recent graduates between undergraduate and postgraduate level (e.g., those working towards a master's degree).

What you can expect

On our competitively paid Industrial Placement, you will complete a 11-month placement located in our Canary Wharf office, which will be in combination with hybrid working. You will gain exposure across the business to build your knowledge of how we work collaboratively to deliver on the Group's inclusion strategy, you will work right at the source of the global Inclusion strategy and across different diversity strands.

What you'll do

  • You will be working within the Global D&I team as a valued member and be asked to contribute on range of different areas, including:
  • Work alongside the Global D&I team to deliver our goals and key priorities.
  • Supporting the Head of Inclusion in developing, embedding, and maintaining of overall strategy and risk controls.
  • Supporting the global D&I communication initiatives
  • Delivering activities to support the wider business meet its regulatory requirements.
  • Providing business support such as minute taking, preparing meeting packs and briefing documents and following up
  • Desk-based research to build our knowledge of external best practice and D&I initiatives.
  • Managing senior stakeholders' engagement, ensuring a consistent understanding of action status, risks and issues and key D&I outcomes.
  • Become experienced with various diversity strands, including asian heritage, black heritage, female senior representation, disability, and socioeconomic mobility.
  • Understand how our D&I agenda relates to human resources and the wider bank.

Requirements:

  • Available to work full-time from September 2024 to August 2025
  • Hybrid working - encouraged to travel to the office approximately twice per week.
  • Open to a four-day per week working contract
  • Studying or have studied in a subject related to D&I, behavioural science or human resources.
  • Currently in your penultimate year of study expecting to graduate in 2025 or between undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
  • Obtained, or expected to achieve, a 2:1 Degree classification / 3.2 GPA or higher or overseas equivalent to this.
  • Fluent in English.
