This position has a starting salary of £28,584 per annum based on a 28.80 hour working week pro-rata to £35,730 full-time equivalent.
This role is offered as a fixed term contract until 31st March 2025. Flexible, part-time hours and job share will be considered.

About the role
As our Inclusion Lead (Additional Needs and Disabilities) you will be responsible for leading Active Surrey's additional needs and disabilities (AnD) work and supporting colleagues across the team in this area. This role will include a specific focus on the Club4 programme; Surrey's response to the Department of Education's Holiday, Activity and Food Programme. This focus will include leading on the implementation of the Club4 Additional Support Funding, development of stay and play sessions and co-ordinating suitable training for Club4 providers and other Surrey workforce such as teachers, coaches and community partners.
Using your knowledge of the AnD system, you will support members of the Active Surrey team to understand programme challenges and work collaboratively to seek suitable solutions. In addition, developing further opportunities for system change supporting children with AnD to become more physically active.
In addition to work on the Club4 programme, you will map out need and existing provision for young people with additional needs to be active, and work collaboratively to address gaps, increase partnership working and drive system change.
Reporting to the Holiday Activity Programme Manager, you will work very closely with the Active Surrey Team and a variety of partners such as Surrey County Council, Club4 providers, Lead Inclusion School, Surrey Youth Focus (lead for Additional Needs and Disabilities in the Community) and voluntary community and social enterprise sector.
Please note, the role may require some evening and weekend work, for which time will be given in lieu.
