Job description

Location:Head Office - West DidsburyContract: Full time, PermanentSalary: up to £25,000Benefits: Competitive pension, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service, cycle to work scheme, season ticket loans for public transport plus much more.

Reporting to the Service Development Manager, the Independence and Wellbeing Administrator will be part of a specialist team responsible for the development and improvement of our services. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Independence and Wellbeing department's administration processes and will provide co-ordination and support to the department.

What you'll be doing:

  • To deliver high quality administration and co-ordination for the Independence and Wellbeing department to support efficient and effective working.
  • To be responsible for general administrative tasks, including setting up team meetings, arranging training sessions, taking minutes of meetings etc.
  • To assist the Service Development team with administrative tasks as required, including the co-ordination of our in-house bank and temporary staff system.
  • To support the Service Development Manager with the administration of Independence and Wellbeing operational procedures and guidance
  • To support in the production of reports and management information relating to performance and compliance as required.
  • To be the first line of contact for queries to the Service Development team.
  • To support data analysis reporting for internal and external Quality Assurance Processes
  • To be the first line of contact for queries to the Service Development team.
  • To support bid and tender submissions.
  • Freeing up the time of field-based colleagues to provide services including (but not limited to) advertising properties on online portals, drawing down shortlists, managing lettings enquiries, ordering furniture and white goods.
  • To work within the Independence and Wellbeing framework, focussing on delivering our purpose and adhering to the principles.
  • To carry out any Health and Safety duties as directed by the Service Development Manager and adhere to Great Place's Health and Safety procedures.

What you'll need:

  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Organisation and ability to time-manage work load
  • Experience of collating information in an organised and planned way and presenting this in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience of detailed administration and recording procedures, maintaining confidentiality in line with data protection and safeguarding regulations.
  • Experience of undertaking administration tasks, preferably in a busy housing/property management environment.
  • Effective liaison with colleagues/other stakeholders to exchange information and resolve problems.
  • Experience of full range of Microsoft Office, housing management and other software systems
