Independent Living Officer

We have a vacancy for a temporary Independent Living Officer in Lancaster for a minimum of 2 months, based in a sheltered housing scheme for residents aged 55+

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch

Your new role

You'll be responsible for carrying out daily wellbeing checks on residents, completing and updating support plans/risk assessments, reporting repairs, carrying out viewings and completing sign-ups, as well as conducting weekly fire alarm checks and other monthly health & safety checks.

What you'll need to succeed

Full training will be provided, however will be expected to have a good knowledge & understanding of housing and tenancy management principles, as well as the needs of older people. You will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent IT, communication and customer service skills.

What you'll get in return

• Weekly pay
• Hourly rates up to £17ph
• Option to be paid via PAYE or Umbrella
