This established organisation experiences continuous year-on-year success and is therefore seeking an Indirect IT Procurement Director to join its best-in-class procurement team. You will take lead on the delivery and overall execution of best practice procurement strategy predominantly across the IT procurement function in addition to some generalist indirect procurement categories such as professional services procurement. You will also be responsible for leading a medium team of best-in-class passionate procurement professionals.

Indirect Procurement Director responsibilities…

• Lead delivery of effective procurement category strategy and general strategic direction pf the procurement function in relation to IT procurement as the key area of spend as well as professional services procurement and HR procurement
• Successfully manage a diverse range of stakeholders from leading a medium team of direct reports to establishing effective relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers
• Undertake a variety of day to day strategic procurement activities; from procurement transformation and procurement category strategy to negotiation and change management

Indirect Procurement Director requirements…

• Demonstratable procurement success across the indirect procurement space, with key expertise within indirect IT procurement in relation to software procurement, hardware procurement and infrastructure procurement
• Strong skills surrounding stakeholder relationship management and the ability to drive effective procurement strategy across the end to end procurement function
• Past leadership experience would be beneficial
