Asset and Procurement Specialist - IT Support

Join our financial client's IT support team as an Asset and Procurement Specialist. We're looking for a dedicated professional to manage the IT asset lifecycle and oversee procurement.

ITAM, Hardware Asset Management, Asset Management, IT Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire IT asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal
• Manage and standardise IT hardware purchasing
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure hardware availability
• Re-harvest, clean, and quality check returned IT equipment
• Track and report on IT asset management activities
• Develop procurement strategies and negotiate with suppliers
• Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage contracts
• Ensure accurate and auditable purchase history records
• Manage the IT hardware disposal lifecycle and end-of-life process
• Support procurement projects and purchasing requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT asset management and procurement
• Intermediate Excel skills; Power BI experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB or similar software
• Strong skills in vendor management and contract oversight
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of ServiceNow, MS Windows, MS Office, Exchange, Active Directory (O365), Android/iPhone OS
• Understanding of ITIL principles
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to process improvement

This contract is rolling every 6 months and attendance on site is needed. Fantastic team.
