Indirect Procurement Manager

Your new company
You will be working for a leading manufacturing company based in Greater London. This business has gone from strength-to-strength, doubling its site size and tripling its annual revenue over the last 5 years. This business supplies retail and hospitality customers across the UK and Europe and has plans to continue expanding their customer base over the coming years.
Your new role
As an Indirect Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for all indirect categories within this organisation, including IT, FM, Marketing and Professional Services to name a few. As procurement is still relatively greenfield in this business, you will be supporting the Procurement Director in creating and refining the procurement processes that will help to drive business profitability and supply chain resilience. Alongside creating and refining procurement processes, you will also play a key role in shaping the view of procurement across the wider business and educating on the value procurement can bring to internal stakeholders.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will need to have strong experience within a broad range of Indirect Procurement categories, such as IT, FM and Marketing. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are crucial for this role to allow procurement to drive real value across the business. A strong commercial understanding will allow you to quickly hit the ground running in this role and allow you to identify quick wins and low complexity, high impact commercial opportunities for the business. A strong analytical understanding would also be highly beneficial for this role, as there is a need to develop and refine the data analysis conducted internally to help identify and execute commercial opportunities.
