This heritage organization is looking to grow its procurement function and is therefore seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to join its best-in-class team. You will be working amongst an excellent company environment that provides great support for your development through gaining exposure to senior stakeholders, including working with the head of procurement, as well as provision of training initiatives.

This company has an established procurement function, however, they are continuously identifying areas for improvement across the end to end procurement function which allows you to suggest and implement fresh strategic procurement approaches.

Indirect Procurement Category Lead responsibilities….

• Drive procurement strategy across the end to end procurement function in relation to a generalist range of Indirect Procurement categories, including but not limited to, Marketing, Professional Services, HR, Travel and FM procurement
• Continuously identify areas for improvement across the end to end procurement function by recommending and implementing fresh approaches to procurement practices and processes
• Effectively manage a range of high-profile stakeholders, from senior global colleagues to various key suppliers
• Undertake a variety of day to day procurement activities, from negotiation and contract management to category management and tendering

Indirect Procurement Manager requirements…

• Ability to demonstrate past procurement experience within the Indirect Procurement space either specialized or generalist, in relation to Marketing procurement, Professional Services procurement, Facilities Management procurement and HR procurement
• Strong skills surrounding strategic sourcing, contract management, negotiation and tender management
• Desire to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a best-in-class team
