The Opportunity
The main responsibilities for the Indirect Procurement Manager are as follows:
- Procurement of a variety of indirect spend, including Facilities Management and Marketing, MRO and Capex
- 360 degree procurement role from sourcing and tender management through to contract negotiation/-management
- Building excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders, adopting a business partnering approach
- Spend analysis and new supplier sourcing
- Supplier performance management - resolving supply issues as they arise
- Focusing upon key metrics - cost avoidance/reduction, supplier consolidation, sustainability
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
About You
The ideal Indirect Procurement Manager will have/be:
- Strong Indirect Procurement experience, ideally from within manufacturing sector
- Hands on approach - accustomed to roles requiring both a hands on and strategic approach
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, excellent communication skills
- Proven track record in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Strong team player
- Adaptable to dynamic environments
