My client tops the charts in the Public Sector procurement field. For over 150 years they have fostered a business known for quality and efficiency. They are now seeking a dynamic Public Sector Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager to join their mission to provide an enjoyable, sustainable, and efficient service to nearly 2 billion people every year.

You will join an established team, where you will spearhead their Indirect Procurement function, sourcing for their internal needs - including HR, Occupational Health, Training, Supplies and Services, Facilities, Retail Property, Professional Services, Insurance, and Consultancy. Managing a spend circa £60m you will strive to deliver significant contractual and commercial value. In doing so you will:

• Draft exciting strategic sourcing strategies while challenging the existing supply pipeline, to reduce costs and maximise value.
• Build and develop long lasting relationships with new suppliers.
• Maintain existing relationships and strive to align current suppliers with the company's plans for the future.
• Lead the tendering process, using your extensive commercial acumen and market knowledge to negotiate beneficial contracts for the supply of goods and services.
• Draft the necessary tender documentation to cement supplier relations.

My client is seeking those passionate about building relationships and providing quality to customers throughout the country. You should have significant exposure to Indirect Procurement functions, and ideally in one or many of the above categories and have a track record for implementing innovative sourcing strategies to maximise commercial benefit.
