Information Assurance Officer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Robert Walters is working in partnership with an international and national law firm. With over 170 partners and 1,000 staff across the UK, Middle East and Far East. Thery are recognised as market leaders with leading practises across Corporate, Litigation, Tax, Banking and Finance, Real Estate and Private Wealth. Due to further investment across their Information Services offering, they are keen to appoint an experienced Information Assurance Officer. Working closing with the Director of Information Services, you will drive InfoSec and CyberSec compliance and assurance capabilities ranging from internal data protection and InfoSec requirements.
The 12 MonthsFixed Term Contract for an Information Assurance Officer will pay a range of £50,000 to £60,000 with benefits and hybrid working model.
Information Assurance Officer - Duties

• Drive compliance capabilities and assurance
• Assist with Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation
• Support maintenance and updates of security policy suite
• Due diligence for InfoSec for new and current suppliers - Supplier audits and risk assessments
• Manage InfoSec and CyberSec queries
• Involved in security investigations - reporting and incident resolution
• Drive process improvement - improving compliance, incident prevention
• Support InfoSec Risk Assessments - Review/Update risk register
• Assist with development of training and awareness materials and security communications
• Help reduce security and data protection risks

Information Assurance Officer - Experience

• Certifications: ISO 27001 Implementer - Essential
• Cyber Essentials Plus
• Knowledge of UK-GDPR, DPA '18, ISO 27001:2002
• Risk Management, Technical InfoSec concepts
• Legal industry experience, desirable but not essential
