To ensure the organisation complies with its legal obligations in respect to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018, Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018, Freedom of Information Act (FOI), and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004

Your new role
To work in an internal and external customer-related way in accordance with adopted procedures and good practice.
To assist in/manage the identification, development and implementation of Manual and Information Technology systems and procedures.
Actively comply with the Service's Equal Opportunities Statement to assist in eliminating discrimination and in maintaining a fair, positive, and productive working environment, to meet statutory obligations and good employment practice.To comply with and/or ensure compliance with the Service's Data Protection Policies, the General Data Protection Regulations, the Data Protection Act/Freedom of Information Act and other relevant legislation.To support change management initiatives, within the Service, this could include team, section, department or organisation restructures.

What you'll need to succeed
· Relevant qualification in Data Protection or relevant work experience.· Ability to use own initiative to prioritise workloads and meet specified (and often legislative) deadlines· Will have experience of working in an environment requiring attention to detail and accuracy· Demonstrate working knowledge of DP principals and legislation· Demonstrate knowledge of good working practices
