Writing East Midlands creates and develops opportunities with inspiring, professional writers through community projects and programmes of work designed to nurture skills, confidence, and joy in the act of creative writing.
The Project Assistant will support the delivery of Beyond the Spectrum, and report to the Beyond the Spectrum Project Manager. This is a national project delivered from our base in Nottingham. It is also supported by a Link Worker. The role involves the following:
- To support Beyond The Spectrum, a creative writing project, in line with the organisation's and funders' values and within agreed budgets and resources.
- Support the management of a network of creative writing groups for Autistic people of all ages, both online and in community settings, and connecting them to external opportunities.
- Support the administration of a programme of masterclasses, digital festivals, and a digital hub for participants.
- Work in partnership with all stakeholders, funders, Autism charities and local government, to deliver the project in line with project values and plans around diversity and inclusion.
