Job description

Are you an information security expert looking to put your mark on the work of British Heart Foundation (BHF)?

We're recruiting for an Information Security Awareness Manager to design and deliver engaging and effective campaigns to raise the level of security awareness across BHF.

Working closely with various stakeholders, such as HR, communications, and learning and development, you’ll develop and implement innovative solutions that foster a positive security culture.

You’ll also monitor and evaluate the impact of initiatives you role out, using metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement and demonstrate value.

Working arrangements

Please note this is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

Need more help balancing your work and home life? Talk to us about what flexibility is available at the application or interview stage.
About you

A strong communicator, able to influence stakeholders across the charity to embrace security culture change, you'll be comfortable with leading change and challenging others, where appropriate, to drive behaviour change that supports good security.

You’ll be comfortable liaising with people at all levels of the business and external partners, and will possess strong analytical skills, able to see a problem early, identify solutions, and implement to support the programme of work.

A security background is not essential for this role, and we'd welcome applications from those with previous experience in driving organisational culture change, communications or marketing. To prepare for interview stages, candidates should research information on security awareness from places such as the SANS institute, KnowB4, ISACA.
