Reed Talent Solutions are working in partnership with an experienced NHS business to recruit anInformation Governance and FOI Officer to support with a 2-month assignment.
This assignment will be a hybrid role, when on-site, the office is in Wimbledon, South West London. Frequency of being on-site is open to discussion but some office attendance would be required, this is not a fully remote role.

- Pay rate - £20.34 per hour

- Duration - 2 months with a view to extension
Knowledge and Experience
- Provide high quality administrative support.
- Resolve problems and concerns quickly - providing support and guidance at the 'point of contact’i.e., face-to-face, email and/or telephone.
- Understand and be able to explain Freedom of Information Act requirements and legislation, together with Subject Access and Data Protection requirements and legislation.
- Ability to identify and escalate more complex or serious matters to senior members of the team.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the log(s) of SAR, FOI, requests and responses and provide analytical information on request. Focussing mainly on relevant specialty.
Liaise with and provide advice to a wide range of external and internal stakeholders, to ensure clear responses can be produced.
- Build and maintain good relationships with staff across the ICB in each Borough.
- Act as a first point of contact in responding to incoming requests and cases in relation to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, Subject Access requests (SAR), IG Incidents & Data Breaches
- Monitoring and responding to the various public / patient facing in-boxes as required
- Finalise and dispatch responses together with information requested in line with statutory deadlines or internal KPIs.
Support the team to ensure that ICB publications schemes are updated and available.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of feedback received and actions taken.
Maintain systems and processes to establish effective communication and confidentiality of information.
Working with the Complaints and PALS Senior Officer, ensure required reports are produced in a timely manner to allow internal and external deadlines to be met.
