Information Quality Manager
Hybrid – Belfast based 1 day per week
Permanent position, Full Time, 35 Hours per week
Honeycomb are delighted to be partnered with a leading local bank to recruit a new Information Quality Manager. This is a multifaceted and dynamic role, offering excellent development opportunity for anyone wishing to build on commercial savvy, hone their data analytical skills, to broaden their understanding of the wider business and to increase or build a profile within Business Banking NI.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse reports on a monthly basis from source systems
• Support performance insight across our customers segments and products and undertake suite of data quality checks
• Contribute to range of regulatory returns, ensuring all activities are performed in compliance with the relevant data and reporting policies and standards.
• Champion efficient and effective delivery of initiatives.
• On an ongoing basis, critically review work practices within the team to improve the efficiency of the current process while maintaining consistently high standards of output.
• Embrace agile practices and new ways of working.
• Develop, coach and mentor colleagues and promote a culture of inclusion and innovation.

The ideal person

• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy and a strong team ethic and flexible approach to meet exciting objectives and time frames.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organised with excellent numerical and analytic skills.
• Understanding and knowledge of data with an ability to acquire, transform and extract data and insights from large scale complex data sets.
• Capacity to build relationships, work with and network successfully with key partners across Corporate Banking and the Group, including Decision Science, wider Group Risk and Finance divisions.
• Demonstrated experience of working well in a team and providing support to junior team members.

Desirable Criteria

• A high level of competency in SQL and VBA
• Knowledge and experience of the bank's systems including Credit MI, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) , Bank of Ireland Pricing System (BIPS) , Collate and other data analytic tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Credible experience in a data management environment
