Quality Manager

Bela Recruitment is hiring a Quality Manager in Lisburn, Antrim / Down, Northern Ireland.

Salary up £60,000 + an achievable 12.5% bonus + Electric Car Scheme + other perks.

The Company
A local business and a trusted supplier to huge brands globally. They have an advanced manufacturing site, driven by excellence in manufacturing, people, and quality.
The factory is super modern, with lots of investment over the past 5 years.
As Quality Manager, you’ll report directly to the MD, driving all aspects of quality management systems, people and processes with the support of a dedicated quality team and the wider business.

Responsibilities
· Manage, develop, and improve all aspects of the quality management systems, ensuring ISO’s continued accreditation.
· Ensure company and customer goals are achieved, by monitoring and measuring all quality KPI’s.
· Ensure clear communication on all quality matters with internal and external parties, to ensure all products and services meet customer needs.
· Work closely with customers and suppliers to resolve all quality issues quickly and effectively, ensuring corrective actions are agreed upon and improvements delivered.
· Collation and analysis of data, maintaining records, reporting and recommendation for management.
· Manage the quality department, including staff, budgets, and continuous improvement philosophy within your team and wider business.
· Plan and manage audits, including 3rd party and external audits.
· Work with all department heads to ensure quality issues are resolved quickly.
· Define, agree, and control quality procedures and documentation.

Requirements
· Ideally a min 3+ years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing business.
· Experience in setting expectations, skills analysis, performance monitoring and people development.
· Proven ability to meet and exceed a number of ISO standards in manufacturing.
· Proven ability to manage a quality department, including reporting, budgets, NPI etc.
· Process auditing experience within a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of CAPA, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan and associated core tools.
· Proven ability to deal directly with customers, suppliers and a senior team, to ensure issues can be identified, solutions found, and actions taken quickly and professionally for the interest of all parties.

Rewards
£45,000 - £60,000 + 12.5% Performance Related Bonus (this is fully achievable)
Flexitime – working only 36.5 hrs and 1 pm finish on Friday.
